Helping You Feel Good Inside and Out

At Relaxation Station Spa and Salon, we believe in treating the whole person, so when you walk through our door, you can expect your spirit to be nourished along with your body in a completely holistic setting.

In providing massage therapy to a wide range of clients since 2012 through different clinics, it became apparent that clients want more than simply a soothing hand. That’s why Relaxation Station offers a variety of treatment options and services that help to enhance, focus, and refresh each client to the fullest. Our goal is to help you feel better within your body and also feel good about yourself.

As a family-operated business, we offer a comprehensive range of services in the Wetaskiwin, Millet, Gwynne, and Pigeon Lake Area.

Our Services

Back Sports Massage Therapy

Massage

In massage therapy, a trained, certified professional (massage therapist) manipulates the soft tissues of your body — muscle, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and skin. The massage therapist uses varying degrees of pressure and movement.

Manual osteopathic therapy

For your body to work well, its structure must also work well. So Osteopathic Manual Therapists work to restore your body to a state of balance, where possible without the use of drugs or surgery. Osteopathic Manual Therapists use touch, physical manipulation, stretching and massage to increase the mobility of joints, to relieve muscle tension, to enhance the blood and nerve supply to tissues, and to help your body’s own healing mechanisms. They may also provide advice on posture and exercise to aid recovery, promote health and prevent symptoms recurring.

Cupping Therapy - Hijama

Myofascial cupping

Myofascial cupping is a soft tissue therapy that encourages healing by creating a negative pressure or suction on the skin using plastic or glass cups that pull up underlying tissues, blood and other fluids close to the surface of the skin. Myofascial cupping does not use scalpels or needles. While many assume that cupping originated in China with traditional Chinese medicine, the earliest records of cupping date back to Egypt in 1550 BC, where it was mentioned in the Ebers Papyrus.
